History
We purchased our first Alpaca in 2002. We started with 2 pregnant females which came directly from Chile and they formed the foundation of our stock. Our holding is a modest 9 acres so we keep our numbers small. Our highest stock was twelve alpaca but right now we have seven...three females, two entire males and two geldings.
We learned that the south east, in particular, is a great place to raise Alpaca. The climate is perfect and the animals thrive here.
